I posted this tomorrow C'mon people, already just one minute after I made my other post, I have gotten a couple emails. Right now the score for campaign or fan-fic is tied at 2. Keep it up! About the title of the news article, I live on the Pacific Coast so I posted this on the 18th on the East Coast but it's the 17th here and...oh sheesh.
What...? I have received several e-mails regarding my campaign. Some people say "Yeah do the campaign!!" and others are saying "I'd like a fan-fic out of you!" I can't do both people! If you want to make me do something, mail your request to me and I will see what the majority says...campaign or fan-fic...sheesh. :-)
GTD Hades Mk II
I have finally finished a long time project of mine, the GTD Hades Mk II. The Hades Mk II was something I wanted to do for awhile because I liked the design of the original Hades, but hated the horrible anti-capital ship beam placement and the easily disabled engines. Thanks to the recent release of the POF Editor, I have been able to make a better Hades. The Hades Mk II has a more powerful and better placed anti-capital ship weapons array, it also has better anti-fighter weapons placement. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it has instead of one engine subsystem, a total of five. The original is still there, plus I added one engine subsystem to each of the four 'wings' that have engines. I also added a second weapons subsystem near the fighterbay. The Hades Mk II is all around better than the original, but to compensate and to fit in with the tech room brief I created, I reduced its hitpoints by half. According to the tech brief, the Hades Mk II was built without the use of expensive to replicate Shivan technology and thus is the reason is has fewer hitpoints.
Lots Of MODs!
Sorry I've been away so long, Real Life™ has been keeping me rather busy lately. I have posted the four MODs I mentioned back on March 05 in the downloads section here at Triton Dynamics. They are: FreeSpace 1 Ships.tbl and Hud.tbl, Anubis Mk II For FreeSpace 1, Anubis Mk II For FreeSpace 2, and the Morta Bomber and Weapons Pack.
