Mission Objectives:

Engage and Destroy all hostile targets
Keep Shivans away from the Meson bombs
Keep Shivans away from 2nd Meson deployment
Protect the Renenet
Preferred loadout: Ship: GVF Tauret
Weapons: Both banks with Mekhus, and Harpoon and Tornado missiles
Walkthrough: As soon as enter, you'll see the Renenet, a Sobek corvette reinforcing your position, and you'll see 8 Astaroth fighters flying near the Knossos portal. Once you engage the Astaroths, your wingmen tend to drop like flies, so order them to protect the Renenet while you fly near the Shivans. Once the Astaroths start firing on you, afterburn back to the Renenet with full engine power, and the Sobek and your wingmen should easily destroy the Astaroths. After you take care of them, the first Lambda transport jumps in. Once it does, Capricorn wing, composed of 4 Mara fighters jump in near the Renenet. With the Renenet's added firepower, you should have no problem with the 4 Maras.
Lambda 1 will jump out, and 12 Dragon fighters will enter the fray. If the Meson Bomb activates on time, all 12 Shivan fighters should be destroyed in the shockwave. Seeing that one Meson Bomb isn't enough to destroy the Knossos, Command send in two more tranports to destroy the Knossos. Around this time, Epsilon wing, consisting of 3 Thoths will jump in if the rest of Alpha has been destroyed. As the two Meson bombs are being placed, Pisces wing, with 4 Maras will jump in. You should take them out with no problem. Keep on your toes, because more Shivans could jump in at anytime. Once both Lambda transports leave, the bombs will blow and destroy the portal. However, the node becomes stable and the Sathanas chugs on through. You better jump out, or it will rip you to pieces!
