Historical Information
Based upon the old GTD Kemuel class destroyer introduced during the advent of the Terran-Vasudan war, this framework of a vessel served the GTVA in the creation of a new generation carrier class, the Balius. Fielded in defense fleets during the Russik incident, the Balius has proven itself as a capable and maneuverable unit which is more efficient then the deployment of inter-system sub-space drives in strikecraft. Some Balius class destroyers allocated to the GTVI's Laomedon Conclave are rumored to exist in spaceyards within the Antares system, these rumors have not yet been proven.
